After last year's successful Kickstarter and release of the Headlocked: The Last Territory book at SDCC 2014, we have now launched our next Kickstarter campaign for the next chapter in the Headlocked story.

This time around we have wrestling superstars Jerry 'The King' Lawler, Booker T, AJ Styles, John Morrison, Frankie Kazarian, Tony Atlas and Caylen Croft providing stories and artwork for this book.

We also have comic creators Jill Thompson, Jamal Igle, Ramon Villalobos, Box Brown, Mark Poulton & Michael Dake providing artwork as well.

Headlocked is a comic about the seedy world of professional wrestling, made by wrestlers and wrestling fans FOR wrestlers and wrestling fans.

Today, I finished the last page of the Headlocked graphic novel which brings a total of 115 pages drawn by me.

That's the most comic book pages I've ever drawn in my life and though it was a hard slog, it was also a lot of fun.

So now the pages are in the hands of the colourist and letterer and then fingers crossed, the book should be done in time for SDCC2014 next month.

I'll be there at the Headlocked booth along with Jill Thompson and writer/creator, Mike Kingston. There will be wrestlers there as well but they haven't been announced yet.

San Diego - I'm coming for you!

So it looks like I'm going to San Diego Comic Con this year to release the Headlocked graphic novel I've been working on for the past few months. I'll be at the Headlocked booth signing copies of the book.

That being said, who here is going to SDCC? I'm wondering if I do prints of the Lantern Corps images I've done, would people buy them? And if so, how many copies of the prints should I do?




But yeah - looking forward to doing SDCC again and seeing the final product of my labours. Also would be great to catch up with my friends, JoelGomez, Midimew and others.
